Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club (ADAC) is the Federation of German Automobile Clubs, founded in 1903.Its aim is to promote quality campsites throughout Europe, including France. These criteria are based on the quality of services. Depending on the outcome of the evaluation, the campsite may or may not receive ADAC appreciation.

The ADAC is primarily a roadside assistance service with a powerful fleet of emergency, medical, helicopter and medical aircraft.
The ADAC also plays an educational role with road users in order to prevent accidents, in particular by addressing the behaviors to be adopted, first aid and by giving various advice.
