Cotentin Tourisme is a group of tourism professionals from Cotentin. Created in 1998, its goal is to offer visitors a quality offer to guarantee their satisfaction during their stay.

Cotentin is located in the department of Manche, in Normandy. It represents around a third of this department. Its flagship city is Cherbourg, a port renowned for its umbrellas, thanks to the film by Jacques Demy, and for its military port. It was also the place of liberation with the Allies in 1944 who chose Normandy to land. Their priority objective was to take Cherbourg to unload their logistics in the port which has a primordial advantage: it is in deep waters.

Besides, Cotentin hosts one of the D-Day beaches: Utah-Beach, a site on which you can also visit the remarkable Museum of the Normandy landing. Do not forget the other museums on that same theme which are also members of Cotentin Tourisme like the D-Day Experience and the World War II Museum. They offer impressive collections.
